Anchorage, AK – The Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center will take on a new look this season. APU is partnering with Craft Sportswear, a global outdoor wear company that also outfits the Swedish National Nordic ski team. The APU Nordic Team will be suited up in Craft’s new custom training and racing uniform while the community-based programs will sport Craft suits and warm-ups.
“APU is excited to introduce Craft’s custom line in the U.S.,” said Erik Flora, APU Nordic Ski Team coach. “It’s important for us to have a unified look across all the APU programs and we’re able to accomplish this with Craft.”
In the past, APU has used several clothing companies to outfit its team and program participants. Anchorage communications firm, Yuit LLC, is designing the custom suits that Craft will produce for APU.
Whether training on the trails of Anchorage or at the Lowell Thomas Training Center on Eagle Glacier Craft offers the essential racing and training apparel to contend with all of the weather conditions experienced by the APU’s Nordic athletes.
Craft’s new custom line for APU will be unveiled at the West Yellowstone Ski Festival in November.
