U.S. Women’s Ski Jumping Team veteran Jessica Jerome and legendary women’s coach Larry Stone will be inducted into the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame (ASJHF) on Dec. 5, 2010. From 22nd to 24th October, FIS organized a seminar for FIS Cross- Country Technical Delegates of OPA countries in Ramsau. More than sixty participants  from eleven nations gathered to update their knowledge of competition rules  and event organization. The Grand Mesa Nordic Council has begun its 2010/2011 season! On Tuesday (10/26/10), we fired up the snow machines and groomed Scales Lake trail out to the radio tower. The total snow depth was about 14″, though we may have received a few more overnight. The trail is groomed for both skating and classic, and offers about 10km of skiing (5km out and back).
