Our content
Everything we publish — articles, photographs, graphics, audio, and the site itself — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and belongs to FasterSkier, Inc. or to the people who licensed it to us. You are welcome to read, link, quote briefly with attribution, and share our work through the sharing tools we provide.
You may not republish, scrape, or systematically extract our content — including for training machine-learning models — without our prior written permission. If you would like to license something, ask: matthew@fasterskier.com. We are a small company and we usually say yes to reasonable requests.
Photography
Photographs carry the credit of the photographer or agency that made them. Credits are part of the work — if you share an image with our permission, the credit travels with it.
Your content
If you post a comment or otherwise submit content to Ski Center, it remains yours, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with the site. You are responsible for what you post, and you agree to follow our Commenting Policy. We may remove content that violates it.
Accounts
Sign-in uses Endurance ID, the shared account for the Endurance Center network. Keep your email account secure — sign-in links and codes sent to it are how we know you are you. We may suspend accounts used to violate these terms.
Accuracy, corrections, and opinions
We practice real journalism and we correct our mistakes visibly. Even so, content is provided “as is”: race results, snow conditions, and other data are reported with their sources and timestamps, and conditions in particular change faster than any website. Ski before you believe. Opinions in bylined or quoted material belong to their authors and speakers.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FasterSkier, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Skiing and ski racing carry inherent risks; nothing we publish is a substitute for your own judgment, local knowledge, or professional advice.
Third-party links
Stories link outward — to federations, results providers, event organizers, and others. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
